More About the Crush Home School Subscription

When you homeschool your child, it’s often just you and your child for much of the day. But, that doesn’t mean you have to homeschool alone. From in-person and online groups to ready-made materials you can buy to make your child’s days more engaging (and to take the burden of making these materials off of your shoulders), there are plenty of resources available to you.

Our home school subscription plan isn’t “just another” of the resources you can find (in many cases for free) online already.

Instead, our subscription plan is designed to help you as a parent-educator both in and out of home school. It includes lesson ideas and
exclusive resources related to the month’s theme, but it also includes reminders, recommendations, and insights for you—both in your role as educator and in your role as parent.

What Your Subscription Includes

Our subscribers receive a detailed .PDF each month via email. This .PDF includes an explanation of the month’s theme along with information
for you and resources for both you and your child. While some of our resources for students are designed to be printed, all other resources included in our member packages can either be printed or used on your phone, tablet, or laptop.

Here is an overview of what your Crush Home School subscription includes:

1. Monthly Theme

Each of our member packages is built around a theme that will guide your thinking, planning, and activities for the month. Some of these themes are broad (i.e., organization and planning), while others are seasonal and/or focused on other aspects of homeschooling.

2. Monthly Reminders

Our monthly reminders are designed to help you maintain perspective while homeschooling. They will help you stay centered and focused on what matters most. They will be based on the month’s theme, and they will tie into the month’s recommendations, learning ideas, and self-care tips.

3. Monthly Recommendations

Our monthly recommendations are also based on the month’s theme. These are recommendations for you as a parent-educator. While our reminders are focused on helping you use the perspective you already have, our recommendations are focused on giving you new ideas and insights that you can implement going forward.

4. Exclusive Resource(s)

As a Crush Home School subscriber, you will receive exclusive resources in your monthly email. These are resources that are not available for sale individually on our website at the time of release and that are related to the month’s theme. They are adaptable to your child’s (or children’s) age and grade level.

5. 15-Minute Learning Ideas

As a Crush Home School subscriber, you will also typically receive two 15-minute learning ideas each month. These are lessons that you can adapt to your child’s (or children’s) age, grade level, and learning style. You can also adapt them for use multiple times throughout the year or in subsequent school years.

6. Community Engagement

Our member packages also include recommendations and guidance for community engagement. Community engagement is important for home school students for lots of reasons, but finding ways to engage can be hard. As a subscriber, you’ll receive ideas you can use to engage with your local community as regularly as you would like.

7. Monthly Self-Care Tip

Each monthly member package includes a self-care tip from our founder, who holds a PhD in psychology. Each member package also explains why this self-care tip is important, how to apply it in your life (both in and out of home school), when to focus on self-care, and what to do if you need more help.

8. Q&A with Our Founder

Each monthly member package also includes a Q&A with our founder, Lacy Fabian, PhD. These questions and answers are focused on the month’s theme and the reminders, recommendations, and resources included in the month’s member package. They’re designed to help you use your subscription to the fullest of its potential.

9. Additional Resource Recommendations

We also typically include additional resource recommendations with our home school subscription packages. These are not sales pitches for our own resources, but instead recommendations for books, articles, websites, and other resources that you can use to explore our monthly theme further.

10. 10% Discount on All Other Resources

As a Crush Home School subscriber, you will receive a 10% discount code to use on all of our other resources. Similar to the exclusive resources included in our subscription packages, these resources are adaptable to children in different grade levels, and you can use them as many times (and with as many of your children) as you want.
